All his life, Reyes Alexander Farrow has suffered the torments of the damned. Only one thing has given him hope: the woman who radiates a light that no mortals can see; a light that only the departed can see...

Told from his point of view, BRIGHTER THAN THE SUN chronicles the first time Reyes ever encountered Charley, and how their relationship has been the one thing that can either save him or doom him.

Its no secret I'm a HUGE fan of Ms Jones and the Charley Davidson series, so when i heard there was a novella of course i had to read it.....when i heard it was a novella from the ever drool worthy character of Reyes Farrow.....the need to read sped up somewhat!!!

A long time coming this Novella was! And if I'm honest, the only downside was that it didn't have to be a novella. I'm pretty sure this could easily have been made into a full book.

Anyway....we see Reyes from when he's a boy....from the days with Earl, then when he sees Dutch, her real name, how he thinks she's a dream....all the way through prison and right up to the time when Charley finally pieced the puzzle together to figure out who he was and to make sure he put his astral projected ass back into his corporeal body before they pulled the plug on him.

this gave me several new view point angles on Reyes. obviously no child should have gone thru what he did, so so much heartache for him...he's so loyal- to his sister and best friend. He doesn't go out of his way to fight but will defend and yes kill if he needs to.

And the most shocking revelation. at least to Reyes, is his true identity which, he doesn't remember until Charley kisses his corporeal body.

So, he's not this "kill first, ask questions later" , Satan's son that he does try to uphold....at least to the outside world! he's had a lot thrown at him. He's had to fight for everything and I think he's truly surprised, still, that Charley loves him.

If you love the series, you'll love this. There's nothing NOT to love!

Thank you Ms Jones for this- we need another now, as we watch them fight for Beeps survival!!

To follow, find or stalk Ms Jones (depending on your view!), here's how....

If you haven't read the series...or heard of it (where have you BEEN!!??), this is a great place to read up and see if it is for you - Fantastic Fiction.  Ive also reviewed a few of them on here, but i love the series so you'll only read good things here!!!

Happy Reading!!
