The Glamour Spring Edit Beauty Box - A box with a twist this time!!

I know, i know - another Beauty Box!!  BUT this one was different!
I think a lot of you see my magazine offers page (HERE) and this is where i got this from myself.  This was a "Buy the Box and get a Years Subscription included" offer- a bit of a twist on subbing to a Magazine!  The box itself is £16.99, but i also posted a 10% discount code, which brings it under £16 delivered, with a 12 month Sub to Glamour Magazine!  The box is claimed to be worth £99 on its own, so almost a win-win situation!

So the box itself.  The line up looks like this:

If I'm honest, nothing special as far as Beauty Boxes go - if it didn't have the Magazine Sub i wouldn't have got it - I've had too many boxes that have disappointed me so i tend not to buy them any more!

is it worth £99? Lets see....

Like i said - pretty much the average Beauty box in the UK.
After seeing this items and the sizes and the RRPs....would i buy it again? No.  Not on its own anyway.  They sweetened the deal with the Glamour 12 month sub and i think that's why these boxes will be bought.

The combined SUGGESTED RRPs comes to £70.51.  Theres nothing here that stands out and makes it a "WOW" box.  In all honesty - the only thing that got an "oh" from me was the Revlon Top Coat - BUT i have no idea what its like, but ill be sure to let you know!  The perfume "sample" is the usual two squirts which i loathe!

I know, i know - why did i buy it? *sigh*  Got the carrot of a mag sub waved in front of me and i chased it....hind sight is a great thing in this particular case!!

I do think though that some people will love this box - it covers pretty much every beauty avenue and area so i think that goes in its favour!

As for me buying beauty boxes.....since MEME boxes stopped posting to the UK i never batted an eyelid at any box - this was a one off, and a harsh reminder why i don't buy them!!  Just not for me!

Did you get this box/mag sub?  What do you think? Worth it? Or are you perhaps feeling a tad of buyers remorse like me!?

Hopefully the sun will start shining again here in the UK and i can get to show you some gorgeous polishes i have come across in the last couple of months!

Until then....i hope your beauty boxes make you smile!!
