Nails for the Month of April in Support of Autism Awareness

Some may remember that the month of October was Breast Cancer Awareness month, and a lot of the nail community spent most of their time with pink nails to show support.

April is Autism Awareness month, and for this month, my NOTD's will be all blue, and mine wont be the only blog or Facebook page to do this, - they will all have that in common, but don't think that it will be boring - there are so many shades of blue alone...glitter...holo's...chromes...matte...then theres the art you can add on top.

This will be my first NOTD to help spread awareness.  I will do more, but i will add a link to them on to this post too, so you can have a peek there too if you'd like.

To find out more about Autism, there are lots of sites available, but i plucked a couple for ease for you. They have a donate button too! ;)

Ok, onto the first blue of the month!

This i purely did just pluck out of my "To-Be-Tried" pile, and WOW I'm glad i did - WHY the heck have i not had this gorgeous polish on my nails before!! Its amazing!  A gorgeous blue with flecks of silver and its just memorising to look at! The fact its called "Freya's Cat" and is dedicated to cat owners has nothing to do with it! *cough*.  I admit i looked at this for such a long time before buying, and then waited so long to try it....oh how daft!!

Base and Top Coat is Eye Candy Gel Wrap System and 2 coats of Picture Polish "Freya's Cat"

This is beautiful on its own - i think you can see that, but, me being me, wanted to add something to it.  So i looked for a paler blue and came up with Colors By Llarowe's "Monkey See, monkey Do" and these were the results:

Just a simple stripe up the middle and i love it!
And this is my first Blue day! (it kinda helps that Blue is one of my favourite colours!)

If you have done any "blue" mani's to raise awareness of Autism, please leave a link, i would love to pop across and see!
