YA BOUND BOOK TOURS **REVIEW**: "Web Of Lies" (Red Ridge #3) by Sara Dailey & Staci Webber

Web of Lies (The Red Ridge Pack # 3)

Release Date: 11/25-13

In the midst of a struggle for control of his pack, eighteen-year-old werewolf enforcer-to-be Luke Stanton meets the one girl who will destroy everything…or complete him.

Eighteen-year-old Luke Stanton is focused, strong, and intimidating as hell. He has to be. As the future enforcer of Red Ridge, it will be his job to keep the other weres in line. So avoiding close friendships, pack drama, and especially pack females is in his best interest. He witnessed firsthand what love did to his father, so casual human hookups are enough.

Then she arrives: Scarlett Reed. She arouses something primal in him, something undeniable. But just as Luke gives himself permission to finally experience something real, the truth bursts free. The were beauty is harboring a secret so devastating it has the power to destroy him. At the same time, the pack is splintering over a battle for leadership, and Luke’s strength is needed more than ever. It is a time of upheaval, of the destructive power of lies. Everything he thought to protect is in danger: his family, his friends…and most of all, his heart.

So, onto book 3! The last one available at the moment, but hopefully the series will continue soon!

This book follows Luke - a teenager who has been primed to be the Pack Enforcer when the new alpha (which is a storyline in itself between Cade and Aiden fighting out for the position).  He has kept his distance from everyone, to prevent making bonds and then in the future having to 'deal' with them.  this includes girls.  His reputation as a playboy is widely known.  Commitment sends him running for the hills, and up till now, hes been fine with the hooking up and leaving.

Scarlett arrives to Red Ridge with her dad (The fixer who was called in at the end of book 2 to help deal with the hunters) and her 'brother' Gavin (who in actual fact is the closest packs son of the alpha).  They come to Red Ridge as word has travelled that they are divided- therefore weak- and prime for taking over.

Scarlett was sent to 'mess with Luke's head'.....little did she know that shed fall....and hard for him.  Her dad is furious and obviously cares more for their pack than her daughter and refuses to let her leave the mission.  Brian and Drew are stirring trouble, and something much worse revealed later in the book.

The previous two books bring about the 'True Mate' being actually true.  Could this happen to Luke? With Scarlett?
Will it be Cade or Aiden for Alpha?
Will Luke forgive the things that Scarlett has done?
And what is wrong with Marcus, the packs leader....

Another little cliffhanger at the end that i didn't see coming, i love this series.  So easy to read, you get totally sucked in and just a fun, light read.
