TRY & Review: Ginvera green Tea Nude Cover BB Cream

Today i received a sample of Ginvera's Green Tea Nude Cover BB Cream to try. A 25ml tube is £18 and a 40ml tube is £25 direct from Janiro. I love BB Creams, as they cover as a base and don't look terrible if you don't put anything on the top like powder or blush, and love to try new ones.
This BB Cream won in the Pure Silver Beauty Awards 2012.

It claims:

  • Natural and flawless coverage for all skin tones
  • Nano fine texture
  • Provides all day hydration for soft supple skin
  • Reduces formation of wrinkles and fine lines
  • SPF30 PA protecting you from harmful UV Rays
"Enriched with premium Green Tea, Ginseng, Chines Angelica and Hyaluronic Acid, Green Tea Nude Cover BB cream provides the benefits of blemish free concealing, sun block effects, whitening, moisturising and reduction of lines, providing a long lasting smooth and ultra light feel to nourish and perfect your skin"

I opened the tube and was a little worried about the colour - i thought it would be too dark for me, as I'm pretty pale. I rubbed a little into the back of my hand and it blended actually pretty well! So i tried it on my face!

(sorry for the awful pics!!)

I don't know about you, but i can see a difference after I've put it on!
It evens out the skin tone fantastically and helps to even hide the dark circles i have under my eyes today (not a good night sleep!). In the middle picture, it shows how much i used - not a lot - and that little bit of the cream brightened up my skin really well.
I hadn't tried this before, but i have to say that I'm pretty impressed with it. It feels light, my skin can breathe.

I don't use foundations as i can never find the right colour, and i find them quite heavy on my skin, so before BB Creams came out i was a fan of tinted moisturiser.  When the BB creams arrived I've tried a good few, and my regular one was the L'oreal Magnifique Nude BB Cream (light), but this one actually feels and i think looks better. its very smooth while its on and stayed on well - i didn't use any other make up with this today, and when i came to take it off, there was some left to remove from a face wipe!

I actually like this, and have to say, i might have to treat myself to a full sized bottle when I've used up the sample!

Have you tried Ginvera's BB Cream? What do you think of it?

Find Ginvera products at the Janiro website - http://www.janiro.co.uk/ - where you can buy the BB Cream directly or find stockists to purchase from!

  1. I've never used a BB Cream, they seem quite pricey but I do like the properties of this one, so would possibly consider putting it on the birthday list.

  2. I have never used this particular BB cream I have only used maybelline and Pacific mineral but the maybelline one burned my face off (I have sensitive skin) so I am very cautious about the products I use on my face now but great post! (:
