Ive always love Burt's Bees Lipbalms before i got the chance to try and review this one.
I love their shimmer lip balms as it tastes yummy and leaves a nice gloss and tint to your lips.

This one had pink grapefruit flavour infused in the balm, but is a clear colour, so no tint of pink.  As soon as you remove the lip, you're hit with the fruity, zesty and fresh scent of the grapefruit.  I don't like grapefruit as a fruit, but the scent is nice, and when its applied to your lips it does have a slight taste, but not so overpowering that it makes me want to wipe it off.
The balm is lovely and sits nicely, not greasy, you can feel it slowly being absorbed and your lips feel nice and smooth.
I suffer badly with chapped lips, especially in Winter, and always have to have one with me as it can get to the painful point!
This is perfect in every season, but i think it would be even better in Winter as the scent makes you think of summer smells and sunny days (well, actually in that case it would be perfect all year round as the amount of sunny days we get is minimal at best!!

It stays on well after drinking from a cup, doesn't leave any marks and stays on your lips!
What else can you want from a lip balm!

I do think if given a choice between this and the shimmer ones, i would probably go for the shimmer but that's because i love the tints of them! if i wanted a plain lip balm, i do actually always have one of the Burt's Bees in a bag, or drawer or somewhere handy!

Nice lip balm!
