NEW L'Oreal Nude Magique CC Cream

Before this CC Cream, L'Oreal had the Nude Magique BB Cream, which i love! And has great reviews pretty much everywhere! It is a staple in my make up bag and i never go anywhere without it.

When they announced this new cream, i had to buy it and try it.  I went to Boots who have an offer on at the moment of buying 2 L'Oreal products for £15 which for these two creams i thought was a bargain! Otherwise they have an RRP of £9.99 each.

This CC Cream has 3 different types-

  • Anti Fatigue
  • Anti Dullness
  • Anti Redness
I bought the first two, as my skin often looks dull and needs a bit of life breathed into it and also the fatigue as due to my illness i often look tired and will try nearly anything that says it can help with that!

Looking at the back of both tubes, they both claim the same thing with only slight differences.

The Anti fatigue states
"A Colour Correcting Beautifier with an apricot cream emulsion that wakes up the complexion"

Whereas the Anti Dullness claims
"A Colour Correcting Beautifier with a mauve cream emulsion that corrects dull, yellow skin tones"

Reading on Boots website, the Anti Redness claims
"New Nude Magique Anti-Redness CC Cream works with your natural tone to help neutralise the appearance of redness."

The rest of whats written on the tube looks to be the same (or it is definitely the same for the Anti Fatigue and Anti Dullness, so I'm thinking the same would be on the back of the Anti Redness tube).

They state:
A 5 in 1 perfecting cream;
  • Flawless Coverage
  • Perfectly even skin texture
  • Fresh Dewy glow
  • 24hr Hydration
  • SPF 12
THE MAGIC: Smart Pigment Capsules in a feather light mauve hydrator/apricot hydrator (depending upon which cream!) transform into foundation on application. Weightless bare skin Sensation. A perfect nude look.

The BB cream comes out in a creamy colour liquid and turns to a colour upon contact and absorption into skin, and only has the colour difference between each variant. This CC Cream, however doesn't state fair/medium or dark in its description, so I'm hoping that it won't be too dark for my fair skin.

I will be trialling the two i have, and i have to admit to having hopes for it. My only concern is that it will be too dark for my fair skin, but only testing it will tell that.

I know this is very new to the market, but has anyone else had a chance to try this? Is it as good as its predecessor, the BB cream? I would love any input before i try, but as always my review and opinion will be of my own, and I'm hoping it doesnt let me down, or i will be sticking with the "older" BB Cream!
